Bachelors in International Relations and MBA in Entertainment Business Management. Mari began her career in Brasilia managing projects related to the creative economy, promoting business between Brazilian and foreign companies in the areas of music, franchising, visual arts, audiovisual among others. After two years, she moved to SP and is today the Executive Manager for the FilmBrazil project, which seeks to promote Brazilian production companies abroad. Entitled an “Advertising Production Network” it foments a favorable business environment for Brazilian companies, as well as seeking to establish Brazil as an advertisement production hub. Recently she was nominated as FreeTheBid Ambassador in Brazil to help empower more female directors across the market.
This panel will bring together the managers of export projects Film Brazil, Brazilian Content, Cinema do Brasil, Brazilian Music Exchange and Brazilian Publishers, to talk about convergence and international promotion of the sectors of music, audiovisual, games and publishing.
There are several movements in the creative economy that seek to achieve greater gender equality, as many companies have developed business strategies that emphasize women authors. In this panel entrepreneurs will share experiences that have highlighted women in the audiovisual, music, publishing and games sectors, and the reason for their choices.
