PhD in Social Anthropology (in course) from the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences, University of São Paulo (USP-FFLCH). Master in Social Anthropology (2014) and Bachelor in Social Science (2011) from the same institution and Bachelor in Business Administration from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (2010). Meneses is a member of the Laboratory of Post-Disciplinary Studies (LAPOD), the Center of Amerindian Studies (CEstA-USP), the Laboratory of Urban Anthropology (LabNAU), and member of the editorial board of the Encyclopaedia of Anthropology (EA). Recently he was responsible for the creation of the videogame “Huni Kuin: the pathways of the boa” (2012-2017), together the Kaxinawá of the Jordão river, in Acre state. He is also the Administrative Director of Associação Povos da Terra (APOTI), a non-profit organization that develops projects with indigenous peoples.
