Daniel Martins is a ludologist and educational designer with a degree in Industrial Design and a postgraduate degree in Strategic Design from ESPM. He has been a game designer and project manager for years in the game market, educational sector, companies, startups and assisting in the creation of games development courses in Rio de Janeiro and other states, such as Senai, Escola SESC de Ensino Médio, Senac, Unigranrio, among others. For CESAR, he passed through NAVE Rio, and today he’s pedagogical coordinator at Cícero Dias State Technical School – NAVE in Recife. In addition, manages two design companies: D + 1 Design and Games, acting with consultance and producing ludic experiences for educational purposes; and DMand Game Studio where he makes tabletop games for entertainment.
Incorporate basic concepts of game design and logical reasoning through the development of analogue games with social themes. The workshop aims to sensitize the public in understanding how games can be important strategies to improve the world. The workshop integrates one of the training tracks of the NAVE program – Advanced Nucleum in Education.
