Cesar Cabral is graduated in Cinema at the Arts and Communication School of São Paulo University. He began his career as a stop-motion animator at highly regarded Brazilian production companies before he co-founded the animation company Coala Filmes. Through Coala, he directed the 2008 stop-motion short film “Dossiê Rê Bordosa”, which won more than 70 awards in Brazilian and international film festivals. After that, Cesar directed the 2010 stop-motion short film “Tempestade”, which was exhibited in prestigious film festivals all around the world, such as Annecy, Hiroshima, Havana and Sundance. He is the creator and director of the young adult stop-motion animated series “Angeli The Killer” , which will be exhibited in Annecy 2018. He’s currently in the production stages of his first feature film, “Bob Cuspe – Nós Não Gostamos de Gente” (“Bob Spit – We Do Not Like People”, 80’), predicted to be released in cinemas in 2019.
